Founded in 2001 by Freda Jessen, Fern Hollow Farm is located in Bostic, NC. It offers hunt seat riding lessons, boarding, showing, and training. The farm is about 20 minutes from Shelby, Boiling Springs, NC, Marion, and Chesnee, SC, and about 45 minutes from Gastonia. We offer a variety of services including lessons, boarding, and training. Fern Hollow Farm offers students many opportunities for showing, trail riding or just enjoying horses. The farm regularly attends schooling shows and BRHJA-rated shows in both South Carolina and North Carolina. To learn more about our 2024 show schedule click here. In addition to showing, Fern Hollow Farm is proud to be the home of the Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Equestrian Team. Students on the Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Equestrian Team participate in individual lessons, team lessons, and shows throughout the season.
